Joliet voters reject school levies

With 42.5% voter turnout in District 7 and 39.2% turnout in the special High School only District 7/70, voters have denied Joliet’s General Fund levy request.

Voters decided against school levies by considerable margins in the May 6 school election, and the only contested school board race kept its incumbent in the seat.
