Citroen Formula E Team Boss Cyril Blais Dies Aged 43
The team said it will race in his memory after Blais helped guide Maserati/Citroën to two wins, including this year’s Mexico City E-Prix.

- Blais began his engineering career at Manor Motorsport and Arden before joining Mahindra in 2019. He moved to Monaco Sports Group in 2022, eventually becoming team principal in 2024 to guide the transition to Citroen.
- Under his stewardship, the team won two races this year, including the Mexico City E-Prix with driver Nick Cassidy. "We are all so saddened to lose Cyril," said Beth Paretta, managing director of Citroen Racing.
