Possible lightning strike leads to Newburgh house fire

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — As crews continue to tackle severe weather damages, fire crews believe an early morning house fire in Newburgh was caused by a lightning strike. According to the Ohio Township Fire Department, this fire happened early Saturday morning in the 1800 block of Sandal Way. Fire officials say they were dispatched at 3:50 a.m. and the fire was marked under control by 4:10 a.m.. The fire is still under investigation.
