Johnson & Johnson Reports Q3 2026 Results, Raises 2026 Guidance
The company cited 7.7% pharmaceutical growth and raised full-year guidance after adjusted earnings topped Wall Street estimates.
Johnson & Johnson shares slipped in premarket trading on Tuesday despite reporting third-quarter revenue of $25.4 billion and raising full-year sales guidance to between $101.0 billion and $101.4 billion.
Innovative Medicine, the company's pharmaceutical business, posted sales of $16.76 billion with 7.7% growth, while the MedTech division grew only 2.5% to $8.64 billion, highlighting uneven segment performance.
Chief Financial Officer Joe Wolk cited geopolitical tensions and European budget cuts as international headwinds, telling Bloomberg, "Medtech needs to improve quite frankly."
J&J intends to separate its orthopedics unit, with Wolk confirming the company is "leaning towards a straight spin" rather than a sale to create shareholder value.
The company raised fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings guidance to $11.10 per share and declared a fourth-quarter cash dividend of $1.34 per share, payable on December 8.
