Joe Burrow Confident Bengals Will Win Super Bowl This Season
Burrow said the Bengals’ revamped roster and five returning offensive linemen give them their best chance to win the franchise’s first title.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow praised the franchise's offseason acquisitions during a Wednesday press conference at Paycor Stadium, calling the current group the "most talented roster" of his career.
To address defensive struggles, the Bengals acquired Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, edge rusher Boye Mafe, and safety Bryan Cook, following the departure of Trey Hendrickson to address defensive struggles.
Burrow emphasized returning to the explosive offense of '21 and '22, noting the team retained all five starting offensive linemen and key targets JaMarr Chase and Tee Higgins.
"We're going to go win a lot of games this year and play great and win a Super Bowl," Burrow told reporters, expressing confidence the revamped roster will deliver.
Facing a three-year playoff drought, the Bengals must navigate a competitive AFC North schedule against the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs while preparing for an international game in Madrid.
