Jett Harrison, Brother of Marvin Harrison Jr., Commits to Ohio State Football
The five-star 2028 receiver chose the Buckeyes over Miami and Oregon, extending Ohio State’s run of landing elite wideouts.
Five-Star wide receiver Jett Harrison announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Wednesday, July 1, continuing his family's legacy at the program. The Philadelphia prospect is the younger brother of former Ohio State star Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who played for the Indianapolis Colts for 13 years. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound pass catcher from Philadelphia is considered a polished route runner.
Although Harrison considered Oregon and the Miami Hurricanes, he chose the Buckeyes to strengthen the family legacy. Ohio State has garnered the moniker "WRU" for its consistent output of receivers to the NFL over recent years.
If the Buckeyes sign Harrison in 2028, it would mark their sixth consecutive recruiting class with at least one five-star wide receiver. The program also holds commitments from top 2027 prospects including Jamier Brown.
The Ducks and Buckeyes rivalry continues to intensify off the field as Oregon seeks to prove it can win receiver recruiting battles. While Ohio State maintains its "Wide Receiver U" reputation, programs like Oregon are aggressively competing for top talent.
