Jeremy Clarkson gave some 'inappropriate advice' before filming
The hosts said Clarkson warned them not to f*** it up before filming, as the six-episode Prime Video series launched globally.
Amazon Prime Video launched The Grand Tour's new six-episode season on Friday, September 4, featuring fresh hosts Francis Bourgeois, James Engelsman, and Thomas Holland replacing the original trio.
Following Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May's 2024 departure, producers selected the new hosts from social media and YouTube to modernize the franchise shown in 240 countries.
Before filming, Clarkson gave the trio "inappropriate advice," telling them not to "f*** it up." The hosts aim to maintain the show's DNA without imitating their predecessors.
Traveling through Malaysia, Angola, and California, the hosts emphasize authenticity, with Holland stating, "We're not putting on a character; if you've seen us before, we're the same people."
Executive producer Andy Wilman has teased additional episodes currently in development, with production work ongoing for future installments of the motoring series.
