Jenson Button's wife has £250k of jewellery and bags stolen in London
- Brittny Ward, wife of former F1 driver Jenson Button, was robbed of £250,000 worth of jewellery and designer bags at St Pancras station in London on February 13, 2025.
- The theft happened shortly after the couple returned from a romantic getaway in Paris, and the suitcase was stolen while Jenson was helping a chauffeur load their luggage into a car.
- Plain clothes officers arrested 41-year-old Mourad Aid after reviewing CCTV footage that showed him walking through St Pancras with the stolen suitcase, which contained two Kelly bags worth around £70,000 and sentimental jewellery.
- Aid pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrates' Court on February 19, 2025, and Brittny Ward described the experience as "traumatising" but expressed relief at the justice served.
- The incident left Brittny distrusting London's safety, stating she and her husband have no interest in returning to the UK despite needing to visit family and work obligations.
