(KRON) -- A longtime seafood restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek is permanently closing this spring. After nearly three decades in business, Walnut Creek Yacht Club is shutting its doors for good in May, co-owners Ellen McCarty and Kevin Weinberg wrote in a letter. The restaurant, located at 1555 Bonanza St., made the "most difficult decision" to close after 28 years. McCarty and Weinberg announced their retirement as the reason for the closure.…
