‘Jeopardy!’: Can ‘Unstoppable’ Jamie Ding Crack All-Time Top 10?
Ding’s latest win lifted him to $428,000 and left him $100 shy of Julia Collins for 10th place on the all-time earnings list.
On Wednesday, April 1, Jamie Ding, a law student and bureaucrat from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, secured his 14th consecutive "Jeopardy!" victory, advancing up the show's all-time leaderboard.
A 2009 graduate of Grosse Pointe North High School in Michigan, Ding was an honor student and National AP Scholar who excelled in the National Academic Quiz Tournaments.
After finding the Daily Double on clue 21, Ding defeated Jessica Frankenfield, an event planner, and George Thomas, a former engineer, bringing his 14-day total to $371,600.
The win moves Ding into a tie for the 13th most victories in "Jeopardy!" history; he returns for Thursday's episode on WDIV-TV at 7:30 p.m.
According to the Leaderboard of Legends, Ding is only $100 away from tying for the top 10 highest winnings in regular-season play, positioning him among the show's elite earners.
