State agency names Faulkner County sheriff’s office sergeant fired after inquiry | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

A state agency spokeswoman this week identified the sergeant the Faulkner County sheriff's office fired last week alongside the county jail's administrator after the sheriff's office determined they lied during the investigation of another jail deputy charged with sexually assaulting an inmate.

Jail administrator, housing sergeant fired after investigation

The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that it fired the Faulkner County Detention Center jail administrator and a housing sergeant after an internal affairs investigation following the Aug. 29 arrest of a former detention center lieutenant.
