Jackson wins junior high bee
Sam Jackson, left, was named the Riverside Junior High spelling bee champion by correctly spelling “oblivion” in the seventh round of the contest. Runner-up Katie McFarlin and each of the other competitors were also congratulated by school officials on their outstanding performance.
