Jackson man charged with first-degree property damage

JACKSON — Brent James Weires, 40, of Jackson, is charged in Jackson County with first-degree property damage, a felony. According to the law enforcement report, on Feb. 26, the victim told Jackson law enforcement that Weires had thrown an object at their vehicle, shattering a window. The victim told a deputy they were driving eastbound on North Highway in Jackson when Weires flagged them down. The two got into a fight about the victim’s driving.…
