Ivor Broadis died on this day in 2019, at the age of 96. Unitil his death, he had been the oldest surviving England international footballer. He was also the first manager to transfer himself to another club!Broadis, who was born in Poplar, London, was posted to Crosby-On-Eden, Cumbria towards the end of World War Two.
