It looks like summer is over
It’s true. Summer is really over at the Sleepy Eye Family Aquatic Center. SEFAC closed for the season mid-afternoon Saturday, Aug. 22 and on Tuesday the water was drained out to prepare for needed repairs and resurfacing to get underway this fall. City Manager Bob Elston said the repairs to be done will likely be to remove the old plaster from the pool floor and sides, repair any cracks in the concrete and replaster the entire pool.
