Israeli military eliminates top Hamas commander, Abu Tim
- On Tuesday, the IDF and Shin Bet announced that Adham Ibrahim Shaaban Nasman, the Gaza City Brigade Operations Head, was killed in an airstrike Saturday in Gaza City.
- Nasman previously served as a Nukhba battalion commander and directed the October 7 invasion, holding hostages including Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, Ziv and Gali Berman, Eitan Mor, Matan Angrest, and Omri Miran.
- Recently, the IDF says, Nasman attempted to train terrorists and advance weapons production to rebuild Hamas, actions "carried out as part of efforts to rebuild Hamas' military capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire agreement."
- Former hostage Emily Damari responded on social media, dubbing Nasman a "monster" and "serious figure" within the terror group, noting many brutal terrorists aspired to be like him.
- The IDF stated that troops will remain deployed in Gaza to continue to "remove threats," with Nasman having also served as intelligence officer of the Gaza City Brigade and commander of the Al-Shati Battalion.
