Broward Jewish community marks October 7 anniversary
The Jewish community of Broward County came together Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, to mark the two-year anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks in Israel. More than 700 residents attended the commemoration, hosted by the Jewish Federation of Broward County at the David Posnack JCC in Davie. The event featured addresses from Deputy Consul General Ayellet Black and former tank commander Karni Guez.
Before Oct. 7, a rabbi and imam at Syracuse were building bridges. After the attacks, more students joined them.
