The New York Islanders have signed defenseman Malte Gustafsson to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced today. The 18-year-old was selected 13th overall in the first round of the 2026 NHL Draft. His ELC will pay him $3.23MM total over the contracts three year span at a $1.075MM cap hit.
