Foreign media recently reported that Finnish telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nokia has confirmed that it will close its research and development center in Hangzhou, Jiangsu Province. This move will result in the layoff of approximately 1,600 employees, and other branches in Beijing, Chengdu, Qingdao, and Shanghai may also be closed.
