New figures from the Central Statistics Office show that the unemployment rate fell to 3.9% in February, from 4% a month earlier, to match a previous record low of the early 2000s.

The Irish labour market is 'technically at full employment' after unemployment dropped to 3.9% in February.  The seasonally adjusted number of people unemployed was 111,500 in February 2025, compared with 115,700 in January 2025 the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office show.
