DUBAI, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Sporadic protests continued in Iran on Sunday amid a widespread crackdown by security forces a year after a young Kurdish woman's death in custody set off some of the worst political unrest in four decades.
The security authorities in Iran are taking great action against the protest movement in the country. According to a report, hundreds were arrested within 24 hours.
On the first anniversary of Kurdish Jina Mahsa Amini's death, security forces arrested more than 260 people in Iran. The state absolutely wants to prevent new protests. Solidarity is also showing in Germany.
