Iowa Democrats call for party to continue health care subsidy fight
Iowa Democrats running for U.S. Senate called Sunday for their party to continue the fight to extend health care subsidies amid reports the federal government shutdown may end with a promised future vote on the issue.
The proposal does not include the extension of the Affordable Health Care Act subsidies that the Democrats had become at the centre of their struggle
"Donald Trump needs to get off the golf course and back to the negotiating table," the Democratic minority leader in the House of Representatives said.
