Iowa basketball coach Ben McCollum expects sophomore center Trevin Jirak to make significant progress heading into next season. The 6-11 product of West Des Moines Valley appeared in 17 games as a true freshman. Jirak averaged nearly three and-a-half points per game but his playing time tailed off during Big Ten play. The Hawkeyes are in their second week of summer workouts.
