Investor Loses $100,000 in XRP and XLM as D’CENT Wallet Drain Continues
The D'CENT app wallet drain has continued into its seventh day, with another XRP community member losing more than $100,000 in XRP and XLM. The most recent case follows an earlier report that confirmed the attackers had initially drained 2 million XRP during the Sept.Visit Website
An attack on users of the D的CENT App Wallet has led to the hijacking of 11,746 million XRP, or almost 20 million dollars. Between 15 and 20 September, 6,678 Wallets were hit in six waves. More than 5,59 million XRP have already left the network via THORChain. The case does not come from a fault of the Ledger XRP: crypto transactions have been signed with private keys that the attacker controlled. D
An attacker drained approximately 11.7 million XRPs of 6,678 portfolios linked to D'CENT's Wallet App between September 15 and 20. The operation used compromised private keys, moved millions of tokens to Ethereum and led the company to recommend an immediate migration of funds.
