JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) -- An investigation is underway after a body washed ashore off the coast of Jamestown on Sunday morning. According to Police Chief James Campbell, just after 7:30 a.m., Jamestown police and fire departments were called for a report of a body that had washed ashore near Heads Beach off Seaside Drive.
