#Turkish police on Wednesday detained Sertaç Taşdelen, the founder of Faladdin, an AI-powered fortune-telling app, as part of a probe labelling his gains earned through paid divination services as illicit revenue.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the bank accounts and assets of Sertaç Taşdelen, the owner of apps like Faladdin and Binnaz, have been seized. An investigation has been launched into Taşdelen on charges of fortune-telling, generating income by creating an information system for this purpose, and transporting criminal proceeds abroad.
