Intertape Polymer Buys Shrink Film Maker Clysar

The deal adds Clysar as a second shrink-film brand and expands IPG’s North American manufacturing base, the companies said.

In a move that extends its reach into the shrink film market, global packaging specialist Intertape Polymer Group Inc. is buying Clysar LLC, for an undisclosed amount. Headquartered in Clinton, Iowa, Clysar was founded in 1963, and is known for its Clysar brand shrink film.
