The four main French Internet service providers are subject to legal action. Rural families announced this Thursday that they have launched four group actions against Bouygues Telecom, Free, Orange and SFR.

The organisation blames the access providers for failing to comply, for more than ten years, with their obligation to mention the minimum internet speed and the "normally available rate" of their fixed subscriptions.
The Rural Families association is holding SFR, Bouygues, Free and Orange to trial. It accuses the ISPs of having failed to fulfil their obligations to indicate the debit of contracts entered into by customers.
