Instagram down as users unable to access the app

Up to 82 per cent of Instagram users reported issues with the photosharing app. Reports began coming in at around 12pm, with complaints peaking at 6pm. Around 7,000 people in the US are also reportedly experiencing problem as well. Instagram has yet to confirm whether the app is down, nor does there appear to be any acknowledgment from Facebook.
