Ingles offers update on 3 stores still closed 16 months after Helene

Three Ingles stores have remained closed for more than 16 months due to damages sustained when Hurricane Helene swept through western North Carolina in September 2024. In an SEC filing Thursday, the Asheville-based grocer reported it plans to reopen the stores in the Buncombe County town of  Swannanoa, the Mitchell County town of Spruce Pine and the Burke County town of Morganton.
