The Leipzig Book Fair in Germany has seen record attendance. Organizers announced on the last day of the fair that the book fair, the accompanying Leipzig Reads reading festival and the Manga-Comic convention attracted approximately 313,000 visitors.
This year, the Leipzig Book Fair records a new guest record. According to the organisers, 313,000 people have been visiting the industry meeting since Thursday. Long queues had formed on the exhibition grounds every day.
Visitors exceeded the previous peak by 17,000 guests. Over four days, more than 2000 exhibitors from 54 countries presented themselves.
