The RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) is investigating the effects of PFAS on the health of people living around the Chemours plant in Dordrecht and the Western Scheldt estuary in Zeeland. The caretaker government commissioned the institute to conduct this study. This health study is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
