Indian tourists will be able to pay for purchases in Uzbekistan via UPI-enabled apps in about a year. For this, NPCI International and HUMO have signed an agreement to integrate the Uzbek National Payments Network with the country's national payment network, after receiving approval from regulators in both countries.
