Inflation rises marginally as tomato and jewellery prices increase
India's retail inflation rose to 3.48 per cent in April 2026 on a month-on-month basis from 3.40 per cent in March 2026, according to the provisional Consumer Price Index (CPI) data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Tuesday.
