The primary objective of the spacewalk is to remove an aging high-speed data and communications antenna and install a spare unit on the station's Z1 truss segment, a key structural component located above the ISS.
On August 17th, Eastern Time, NASA astronaut Anil Menon and ESA astronaut Sophie Adelno will conduct a spacewalk lasting approximately six and a half hours.
