Incumbent Along Malapitan currently leads the race for Caloocan City mayor in the 2025 local elections.

The Commission on Elections or Comelec has formally proclaimed Mayor Along Malapitan as the mayor of Caloocan City. Malapitan will serve a second term to resume his role as the city's leader. Mayor Along defeated former senator Antonio Trillanes IV with about 300,000 votes for the incumbent mayor.
