According to a Pew poll conducted in the US, 72 percent of Republicans under the age of 35 have a negative view of the Israeli government; this figure drops to 32 percent among those aged 50 and over. Those expressing a positive view of the Israeli people were 43 percent under 35 and 79 percent over 50.
