The head of the State Duma Committee for the Protection of the Family, Nina Ostnin, asked the Federal Agency for Nationalities (FAND) to report on how the problem of the illegal behaviour of the Roma and the decriminalization of their places of residence was being addressed in Russia, and she sent the appropriate appeal (at RTVI ' s disposal) in connection with another incident involving the Roma in Volgograd province.
