In Saraguro, Zhindar Is Filled with Light and Tradition with the Festival De Faroles

This Friday, May 23, the community of Zhindar, in the canton Saraguro (Loja), will live one of its most expected festivities: the Festival of Faroles. The event begins with a mass at 18:30 in the Saraguro parent church, after which the attendees will travel 3 kilometers towards Zhindar, carrying hand-made lanterns with reeds, flowers and recycled materials.
