The Hessian state parliament has passed a comprehensive ban on mobile phones in schools. Starting with the 2025/26 school year, smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets will no longer be permitted on school premises – with a few exceptions. The goal is to create a more focused learning environment and increase psychological stability among students.
