London, Sept. 8 (CNA) Taiwan Culture Minister Li Yuan (李遠) highlighted the growing international visibility of Taiwanese literature at a forum in London on Monday at which the International Booker Prize-winning "Taiwan Travelogue" was highlighted.
Under the witness of Minister of Culture Lee Yuan, the National Museum of Taiwan Literature and the National Writing Centre of the United Kingdom signed a memorandum of understanding to add a "Literature from Taiwan" category to the "Emerging Translators Mentor Training Program" to cultivate the next generation of Taiwanese literature translators into English.
