Kyiv police bomb technicians, SES sappers remove ballistic missile with unexploded warhead
Bomb technicians from the Kyiv police and sappers of the State Emergency Service (SES) successfully removed a ballistic missile with an unexploded warhead in Darnytsky district of Kyiv, the police press service reported.
The dangerous find is transported to a special landfill, where it will be destroyed by a controlled explosion
The Russians peppered Ukraine with missiles and drones at night. In Kiev, after one of the biggest strikes, an unexploded Iskander ballistic missile remained among residential buildings. Pyrotechnics set off on the site, who must secure the missile directly in the built-up part of the city and remove the warhead from it. The attack claimed at least eight lives. Moscow says its main targets represented Ukraine's military industry.
