Dozens Missing After Russian Strike on Ukraine Aid Centre
Officials said 59 people were missing as rescuers searched the rubble of a former school used to hand out humanitarian aid.
On Monday, a Russian bombing of a humanitarian aid distribution point in Kamyshuvakha killed 37 people, marking one of the deadliest civilian strikes this year.
Ivan Fedorov, co-head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defence Council, wrote on Telegram that the enemy used a FAB-3000 bomb to "deliberately target the community" at the school.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported that the dead include two rescue workers and four police officers, while 59 people remain missing and five are under medical supervision.
Russia's Defence Ministry claimed the attack targeted Ukrainian military units and killed up to 25 servicemen, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the killings, saying "But Russia continues the killings."
US envoy Steve Witkoff announced delegations from Ukraine and Russia will meet in Abu Dhabi on 10-11 November to discuss ending the conflict, following a six-day ceasefire in Oleshky brokered by Melania Trump.
