Kyiv struck by second deadly Russian attack in less than a week
Russia has launched another deadly barrage of strikes on Kyiv. According to Ukrainian authorities, at least fourteen people have been killed, just hours after President Volodomyr Zelensky warned another attack was imminent. Earlier on July 5 the city of Zaporizhzhia was also hit and Moscow claims it has captured the town of Kostyantynivka in the east of the country. Kyiv has dismissed the announcement.
The focus of the Russian attacks was on Kiev. Ukraine also attacked occupied Crimea again. Selensky had warned of heavy air strikes.

The Ukrainian capital Kiev was hit by a deadly Russian attack early on Wednesday. Explosions rang out, trapping many in damaged apartment buildings as the attack with ballistic missiles and drones continued. At least seven people were killed and 24 others wounded. Fires broke out in several districts of the city.
Nine people were killed in the capital and one in the Boutcha district on the outskirts. Local authorities have identified several dozen wounded. In Crimea, a peninsula annexed by Moscow, the governor announced that energy infrastructure had been targeted by "an enemy attack".
