A mechanic died after his scooter fell into a drain in the industrial area of Bulandshahr's Sikandrabad Kotwali area on Thursday afternoon. Passersby, upon seeing the scooter in the drain, alerted the police. Police arrived at the scene and retrieved the body using a JCB. The family refused to have the body post-mortemed.
