In Amasra district of Bartın, the 43 miners who lost their lives in the explosion that occurred on October 14, 2022, at the Amasra Enterprise Directorate of the Turkish Coal Corporation were commemorated with ceremonies held on the 4th anniversary of the tragedy.
On the 4th anniversary of the Amasra Mine Disaster, 43 families will commemorate their losses today. Drawing attention to the trial in which public officials are being prosecuted, lawyer Melike Polat said, "Even if those responsible are punished, we see this as impunity. The punishment for this crime is not negligence of duty."
