AstraZeneca's Covid vaccine is being withdrawn worldwide, months after the pharmaceutical giant admitted for the first time in court documents that it can cause a rare and dangerous side effect, the Telegraph reported.
AstraZeneca announces it will stop selling the COVID-19 vaccine in Europe as the drug, originally known as Oxford or Covishield, is not a central part of its business currently. The move comes days after the company declared in an English court that the drug can cause blood clots.
