IMF announces a slowdown in global growth: "The economy is entering a new era", according to its chief economist
The International Monetary Fund is revising its global growth forecasts downwards, to 2.8 per cent in 2025 and to 3 per cent in 2026. The issue is the increase in tariffs launched by Donald Trump and the uncertainties it causes. In an interview with the "World", Pierre-Olivier Gurinchas believes that the commercial system needs to be "reflated".
