'I'm not involved' - Peter Obi disowns OK Movement Campaign Council

- Led by John Ughulu, the OK Movement constituted the 59-member PCC on September 17 to mobilize support for Messrs Obi and Kwankwaso, claiming the body would operate independently of the official NDC campaign council.
- On Tuesday, NDC National Leader Seriake Dickson criticized the move as "nonsensical," arguing that support groups like the OK Movement must not act like a political party or create their own campaign councils.
- Addressing the internal conflict, Obi noted that support group leaders often ignore directives, stating, "At times, in doing these things, some people who are supposed to manage it, act contrary to directives given to them."
- With the party set to unveil its official PCC for the 2027 election, the NDC warned the OK Movement that their unauthorized actions could destabilize the party and undermine campaign unity.
