Ikitau, Suaalii Named in Australia Squad for Argentina Tests
Len Ikitau and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii return after injuries as coach Les Kiss keeps a largely unchanged squad for the two-Test series.
On Wednesday, Wallabies coach Les Kiss recalled centres Len Ikitau and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii for the two-Test tour of Argentina after both recovered from injuries sustained during the Japan series.
Ikitau missed victories against Japan in Osaka and Townsville this month due to an ankle injury, while Suaalii sat out the Townsville Test following a hamstring issue.
To accommodate the returning stars, coach Les Kiss dropped fullback Jock Campbell, stating "we've looked to maintain consistency in selection with the bulk of this squad having laid a solid foundation."
Kiss flagged a potential move for Suaalii into the back three to better harness his aerial ability, addressing the midfield logjam created by the returning players.
Australia will face the Pumas in San Salvador de Jujuy on August 30 and Mendoza on September 6, as Kiss continues building the squad toward next year's home World Cup.
